Join us as the company celebrates with an exciting concert at the American Jewish University on Thursday, September 6th.
Non-profit contemporary dance company, Keshet Chaim, has entertained audiences around the world for 36 years. With melody, rhythm and ethnic contemporary movement, Artistic Director Eytan Avisar, and Choreographer Kobi Rozenfeld draw from the timeless themes of Jewish culture to preserve tradition and bring our stories to the stage. The dynamic multi-faceted ensemble has been praised by international press for passion and originality. This concert will feature new recent works and will support Keshet Chaim’s interactive public school educational programs, where students learn about the rich culture of Israel and the Jewish people. These programs have been commended for inspiring appreciation of diversity and creating excitement and curiosity in thousands of students in the LAUSD since 1995.
Guest artists will include the amazingly talented singer, Ameet Kanon . Also, the company will present the “Keshet” award to community activist, Sidonia Lax, a long -time supporter and Board member of the company.
