URI OPHIR is a music composer for film and television.

His works include:

-Television Series - Reaching for Heaven, Detective in Jerusalem, Yarkon Zone, A rare species, Shalvata, and numerous others.

-Documentaries - The Worst Companyin the World, Summer Seeds, Badal, Post Levanon, Not Far from the Tree, and numerous others.

-Other Productions - Nights of Shean, Science Museum in Be'er Sheva, music compositions for the dance ensemble Keshet Chaim in Los Angeles, and numerous others

Uri Ophir combines various musical styles in his work, from jazz, ethnic, pop, and electronic music, to a fully orchestrated symphonic score.

Uri owns a professional recording studio in Kibbutz Mishmar Ha'emek, and teaches film scoring and sound design for film and television in various universities throughout Israel.
