In 1949, Israel performed an incredibly secret immigration operation when it airlifted 45,000 Yemenite Jews (mostly children) to safety in Israel. This piece portrays the co-mingling between the ancient and modern sounds of the Yemenite world.  The clash of generations and culture at the wedding showcases traditional Yemenite movements combined with modern-day hip hop.
