| The Gathering of Exiles (exodus) - 2005: This event was organized by the Israel Christian Nexus and was hosted at Stephen S. Wise Temple on May 16, 2005. At this event, Jews and Christians remembered the bravery of both the crew and passengers who participated in the operation Aliyah Bet, which smuggled 100.000 refugees into a country that was tenaciously patrolled and guarded by seasoned British troops. Keshet Chaim performed two powerful numbers from "NESHAMA, Stories of the Soul". The first was Halleluyah, followed by Mourning and Diaspora, interpreted by Tsion Marciano, and Destruction, representing the Biblical Wars. |
Tsion representing the "Jewish people who wandered in the Diaspora of the world, welcome and unwelcomed, tolerated, haunted and persecuted. Ultimately as the world watched in silence, the death camps of Hilter starved, gunned down and gassed to death six million Jews." (NESHAMA, Stories of the Soul program. 4/3/05). | Tsion representing the Jewish people who, for two thousand years, wandered in the Diaspora of the world. |
