Jackie Riedel

Jackie Riedel is a Los Angeles native who graduated from Santa Monica College in 2020receiving her degree in both Dance and Early Childhood Education. Since starting her dancejourney at the young age of two years old, Jackie has trained in various styles including; Ballet,Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Musical Theater, Lyrical, Contemporary, Heels and Improvisation at 8 CountDance Academy. Along with being classically trained she has also trained in numerous styles ofworld dance: Mexican Folklorico, Indonesian, Swing, Jive, West African, Korean Folk Dance, House, Vogue/ Whacking, Salsa and Bachata. During her career Jackie has had the honor of working with world renowned choreographers Marguerite Derricks, Stephanie Powell in the restaging of Donald McKayle’s ‘Songs of the Disinherited’, Bill Evans, Chris Ralph, J.R. Taylor, Brandon Oneal and many more. For the past two years she has been splitting her time between New York and Los Angeles performing, teaching and training in various styles of dance. Her most recent works include performing at the 2023 Indonesian Exposition with Sri Dance Company, apprentice with TreadFast Company in New York, featured in numerous music videos and is a full time faculty member at 8 Count Dance Academy. Jackie aspires to travel all around the world in hopes of being able to spread her profound passion and knowledge of dance to all walks of life.
